Residence Scratch

Rock and Roll scratch night-a-rama!

Just performed at a really well attended and wonderfully informal scratch night up at Residence. It was organised by the members of Kettle of Fish, a collaborative theatre company based at Residence, so that they could try out their latest work, Post-show, before they take it to Freshly Scratched at the BAC this Saturday: Details! Check the box office on 020 7223 2223.

They've got a high quality snippet of a show, with loads of beautiful visual and narrative elements. They had obviously done plenty of work making sure people knew about the show, because there must have been over 30 people in attendance.

I piggy backed on in there with 7 minutes of new material for 10 Ways to Die on Stage, which i will be doing up at the BAC's Freshly Scratched, this time at 8pm on the Friday night. Thank goodness I did because it has reassured me no end and as always the feedback helps the show develop. Special thanks on that point to Alex Bradley and Tom Wainwright for their comments.

It was just great to see the space being used in a creative way. It's a perfect venue for low to no pressure showings of work in progress.

Here's to a Residence double whammy of success this weekend!
