Art has the Most Beautiful Girls

Last Saturday I popped along to my Friend Birgit's leaving do, it was at Spike Island, a gallery and studio complex and bar in Bristol. I had a show the next day so i wasn't drinking, which I can perhaps thank for my unusually observant frame of mind. What did I notice?

Art has the most beautiful girls.

Why this should be so, i have little idea, quite possibly there is a dissertation or even a thesis to be found there. But I am entirely against the academic approach to life, where one flays the skin, pars the muscles and sinews, then laying the whole arrangement out, describes and tags the individual parts, before tying it back together with string, and re-assembling the mess upon the now skeletal frame with a proud declaration that a truer understanding has been reached of the possibilities of dancing, an activity which the academic monster has now eternally excluded itself from, by virtue of being utterly unable to move, and more accurately, dead. So let us simply cheer for art- Hurray, and cheer for beautiful girls (and all girls are beautiful)- Hip Hip Hurray!
